Branding on budget? It can be done!

Robert and Paul formed their new business PreCon just this summer, building on 60 years shared experience and expertise in the mechanical and electrical business. Paul and Robert assist with MEP Pre-construction  Design Services - onsite project management and offer a combined Mechanical and Electrical Commissioning Management service. Phew – that’s a lot! They’re only just starting out and the budget was tight!

Starting with a LinkedIn profile for business (the website comes next, don’t worry) we created the PreCon brand identity looking at a simple, clean and memorable design pulling the three main letters from the company name P, R and C (incidentally, that also spells out the Paul and Robert Company!). We used the classic, flexible Avant Garde Gothic typeface to create this interesting typographic marque that’s sits nicely with the logotype in several formats. It also imbues the look and feel of a company that could easily have been trading for 40 years.

So we trimmed everything down to a colour and mono logo design that condenses well into a clean little wordmark that doubles as a great company avatar for their LinkedIn business profile. Fool around with that same logotype a little more and look at that eye-catching abstract LinkedIn banner too!

Everything came in on budget and was ready to roll within a working week. We think PreCon is looking very sharp. We’ll be here to advise on their next steps with their new brand very soon.
